i love making wedding invitations. some designers don't for a variety of wedding drama related things that can happen. but for me, I just love being able to be a part of someone's day in such a small way.

here's a recent design that I did, and whadda ya know? its in my shop as well :)

yep. i'm a mom

nate took this picture of me and Haddie the other day.. and I came across it on his phone. it's probably the first time i've ever look at my picture and said to myself, "yep, that's a mom". I mean look at me, crazy hair, bathrobe, drooling kid on my hip....

its always been the case, but now i have official proof.
and i love it :)

Sunny Day Photo Shoot

i have an addiction to taking pictures of our family when its sunny out. I feel like this time with her is just so quick, I want to capture every minute. So when the sun pours through these windows i announce that the camera is coming out too. and everyone is very obliging :)

Ahoy! Wedding Ahead!

I had the opportunity to create a custom Save the Date for a darling lady named Jessica.
She wanted it to have a bit of a nautical theme, and a bit of quirky too.
hope her wedding is fabulous!

Pantie Pocket

if you are like me, you are getting invited to a lot of showers lately. people are having babies and getting hitched all over the place. last night, i went to a bacherlorette party and I wanted the plain ole gift card that i got for her to have a little more oomph. So i made this little pantie pocket for it to go in.
she loved it.

and so i thought you might want to have it to, for all the people that you know that are getting married.

so here it is! just print it, glue the edges, and voila!

Haddie's 4 mos!

I'm a little late on posting this. But I just took Haddie's 4 month picture last week.
did you hear me? I said 4 mos. That's just 2 short months away from half a year.
what the what?

she's still adorable, and i'm still in awe of her though.
probably always will be.

I am loving to design logos lately. I just love finding a brand and look for small businesses. I especially love to see them up on pretty little craft tables, or business signs. makes my heart a-flutter.

What a refreshing, most wonderful weekend ever.
and its a new year. bonus!
we managed to get away as a family and join some other families for a splendid time away at the coast.
it. was. magical.

people who were not considered food supply for young infants, drank whiskey while we played games until it was tomorrow.

dogs watched over fireplaces

such a good break from greys anatomy on the couch.
2012, I wasn't sure you could top 2011, but I'm not discounting you just yet, after a weekend like that.
