togetherness

with a new space, comes news walls. so like anyone I had trouble deciding what i should put in the living room area. i decided to make a mini installation of what i thought was important for a living room.... togetherness.
so i whipped up a print of the word.
a print of a couple of chairs together.
and used a card that a friend sent of a horse sucking on a kid's head. because if that isn't togetherness, I don't know what is.

30 weeks and counting..

people back at home sure are getting pushy (no pun intended) about seeing this little girl protruding out of my belly. So for your viewing pleasure, here is a whale of a Lisa.
People keep mentioning that I am now in "the home stretch."
Half of me is excited, the other half wants to crawl in a hole watching reruns of full house eating pop tarts.

The Big Kahuna

i've asked my husband to start referring to me as "The Big Kahuna" because lets face it, at this point I weigh more than him, and in my mind, whoever is biggest is in charge.
sorry nate, the teeter totter doesn't lie.

it doesn't really help that my husband weighs 2 lbs soaking wet..

wedding invite: Melinda & Eric

Melinda approached me not too long ago, saying that she was tired of seeing the same type of wedding invite out there, she wanted something a little more whimsy and different.

so we worked together to create this beach inspired invitation to send to all of her guests that will be joining them in the Dominican Republic. I'm only a little bit jealous of the destination :)
anyways, we're both happy with the finished product and I wish her and her future hubs the very best of luck.

HACKED

sad news. but my domain was hacked and stolen from me.
i won't even pretend to know how this stuff happens, but for now I will just say that it is lame.

i'm in the works to get the whole thing transferred over to my site: www.mylittlebuffalo.com, but for now it is what it is. And after moving and feeling overwhelmed with everything else in life, I've decided that I can't add this item to my anxiety list as well. its for the best.

wow. is this really my first post in june?

my bad. it's been a whirlwind. i spent ALL of last week doing all of these things and so much more:
-trying to find the perfect couch, and acting not-so-perfect about it :)
-moving all of our things from A to B, probably lifting more than I should. for shame..
-designing in the "down times" as if those existed
-oh yeah, and working 40 hours.

but somehow, we've made it.
so grateful for all the hands that helped us get there, and the sanity talks with my husband.
