oh, hello pretty world

the rain begins

i don't think i'm alone when i say that i've enjoyed being holed up this weekend. staying cozy, and away from nature's tears. listening to my husband softly play classical piano, while my cat bounces out all of it's energy from room to room.
hot tea.
blankets.
movies.
sometimes we all just like to feel like we're warm inside a womb again.
don't deny it :)

In House

i love a good house concert.
nothing like hearing a song, ten feet away from you.
beats any ipod, any day.
luckily in p-town you can find one almost every day, if you really looked hard enough.

here's the thing about the NW

it's friggin beautiful.
we spent our saturday wandering around a rainforest full of waterfalls.
no big deal, just an hour away from where we live :)
oh and did i mention that my wonderful husband got us a hotel for the weekend just to get away?
glorious.

ok. i will stop gloating now.
but honestly, sometimes, things are just.too.good. period.
for instance this past weekend, hope yours was fun too!

Once Upon a Time

My Little Buffalo was invited to be a part of an event called "Mixer Match". Here's the premise. 60 artists and artisans gather to have 2 minutes with 20 shop owners. (that's me and mr. up there trying to sell to the delightful shop Tender Loving Empire) The goal? Get the shop owners to sell your goods! I even had to wear one of those papers on my shirt like they do in races. "Vendor # A25".
intimidating? a bit... extremely fun: yes indeed..

It was fun, I got to meet so many people that I've only viewed from afar, and even had more than a few bites for some my little buffalo goodness. Not to mention that I felt so posh in the swanky venue and had my fair share of cream puffs as well.

I was even interviewed for a movie about crafting in the U S of A.
I'll sign your autograph later :)
