hi again, warmth

we've had a blissful recurrence of Summer in the last few days.
so much so, that i literally needed to pause and remember what month we were even in.
i mean sure, my hair was an enemy. and sure it had been nice to forget what sweat feels like dripping down my calf.

but the sun, oh the sun, it has lifted my spirit and made me happy x's 2.

the rain begins

i don't think i'm alone when i say that i've enjoyed being holed up this weekend. staying cozy, and away from nature's tears. listening to my husband softly play classical piano, while my cat bounces out all of it's energy from room to room.
hot tea.
blankets.
movies.
sometimes we all just like to feel like we're warm inside a womb again.
don't deny it :)
